We had damage to our shingles around the seven roof vents, even one bent vent, causing a leak. Rob came today, on a Sunday and during heavy rain. He replaced the damaged vent and the shingles for all seven. The cost was reasonable and the peace of mind it gave us is worth a fortune!

613-223-6467If my roof has a leak, does that mean I need to replace all of it?
Not necessarily. If your roof is still in good shape, repairing the leak should fix the problem. If the roof is in poor shape, repairing the leak could cause more damage than it solves — in that case a replacement may be the better option. An inspection tells us which.
Do you handle emergency and storm damage?
Yes. We offer 24/7 emergency roofing repair across the Ottawa region. After major weather we can patch and protect your home until a full repair is scheduled.
How do I tell when an asphalt shingle roof needs to be replaced?
If your shingles are starting to curl, crack, raise in the wind (this means your seals are broken) or lose granules, it's time to start thinking about replacing your roof. Some of these signs are hard to spot from the ground. If you're not sure of the condition, call Rob — a roof replacement estimate is always free.
Is it okay to put new shingles over old ones?
No. After the old shingles are removed, the roofer should inspect your roof deck for rot. If rot is found, new plywood needs to be installed — it's unsafe to leave rot on a roof deck. Laying new shingles over old ones skips this critical step.
