Barrhaven has grown fast, and its housing stock shows it — a mix of 1990s subdivisions now hitting their second roof and newer builds from the Half Moon Bay and Longfields expansions.

From the older Beaverbrook and Katimavik streets to the newer Morgan's Grant and Kanata Lakes builds, Kanata covers four decades of housing.

Nepean's established neighbourhoods are full of 1960s–1980s bungalows and side-splits — solid homes, but often on a roof deck that's been re-shingled several times.

Manotick is close to home for us — a short drive up from North Gower.

Stittsville has expanded steadily, and much of the Jackson Trails and Fairwinds building boom is now old enough that builder-grade shingles are failing.

Kemptville is one of our closest communities — just down the road from North Gower.

Metcalfe sits in Ottawa's south-east, with village homes and larger residential properties on open land.

Greely has large custom homes on generous lots, often with complex rooflines that were architecturally interesting to build and are correspondingly detailed to re-roof.

Osgoode is one of the villages we've worked in for years.

Richmond blends an old village core with newer subdivision growth, so we see two very different roofs here — established village homes with additions built over the years, and recent builds where the original shingles are simply worn out.

Merrickville is a village on the Rideau Canal, and many homes here have an extensive history behind them.

North Gower is home.

Kars sits on the Rideau just north of us — one of the closest communities we serve.

Findlay Creek is one of Ottawa's newer south-end communities, which means most roofs here are still on their original builder-grade shingles.

Blossom Park has a lot of well-built 1960s–1980s homes, and many are on a roof that's been done at least twice.

South Keys and the streets around it are established, tree-lined and mostly mid-century — the kind of housing where roofs are due and decks need checking.

Bells Corners is a settled west-end community, and most of the housing here is at the age where the current roof is the second or third one on the house.

South Gloucester mixes subdivision streets with larger residential lots just outside them, so roof sizes vary a lot from one driveway to the next.

Riverside South has grown quickly along the river, and the earlier phases are now old enough that builder-grade shingles are giving up.

Carleton Place is an easy run out the 417 for us, and we work on the town's established streets as well as the newer subdivisions on its edges.

Smiths Falls is within our regular travel area, and we cover the town and the roads around it.

Winchester is an easy drive south-east for us.

Munster is a small community just west of Richmond, and we're out this way regularly.
